Positive user feedback on Valencia’s hotels

In a recent report produced by ReviewPro, a company that specializes in on-line reputation management for hotels, the feedback on hotels in Valencia put them in top position with regard to accommodation in all other parts of Spain. ReviewPro realizes the important impact that user-generated content can have on hotel businesses and helps clients profit from the social web. According to the report from ReviewPro, the average online reputation, or Global Review Index, of the hotel market in Valencia is 81.1 per cent, which put the hotels of the city in first place in the whole of Spain, above other major cities like Barcelona, Madrid, Palma and Seville.

On the back of this report ReviewPro has produced a ranking of the top ten hotels in Valencia as rated by Internet users. It has taken into account some 40,000 comments posted on over 100 travel sites about 68 hotels in the city of Valencia in the 3 to 5 star categories.

In this list the hotel Las Arenas ranks first (90.6%), followed by Caro Hotel (90%), The Westin Valencia (89.6%), Hotel Sorolla (89.3%), Ad Hoc Monumental (88.3%), Husa Dimar (88.1%), Hospes Palau de la Mar (87.9%), Vincci Lys (87.7%), Meliá Valencia (87.1%) and, finally the Zenit Valencia (86.5%).

Indeed even when compared with other major European cities, the hotels in Valencia were rated in fifth place, ahead of such popular destinations as Berlin, Venice, Florence and Munich.
